High-performance and flexible e-commerce?
Pimcore works as a backend, a source of product and catalog information but the frontend is another application that through APIs makes the most of Pimcore incredible features and adds custom experiences.
A new language for a new way of working
GraphQL (created by Facebook-Meta in 2012, made public in 2015) is a language that allows other software systems to interact with the information in Pimcore. It allows for the creation of powerful APIs.
A machine that recognizes faces and images? We have got it.
Pimcore is able to identify faces on the images we upload. Extera has developed a module that, by querying the most popular computer vision systems (Amazon Rekognition, Google Vision AI, Microsoft Computer Vision), is able to enrich images with information about portrayed subjects and objects. In addition to this we can train the algorithm to recognize key products or people in the company.
